Fessing Up
This is the opportunity for my own personal little rant and to show off some printer’s websites that I am proud to have been involved with. I am one of the co-founders of D2P, D2P Express is one of our products and I am not a dispassionate unbiased observer. I have worked in the graphic arts since 1991 and left it in disgust to study multimedia programming in 1997 only to be dragged back in 1998 to start a “Deliver artwork over the Internet business.”
It pisses me off that the industry struggles so badly to make an ROI you wouldn’t accept from a bank yet cannot take advantage of tools that would more than triple their profits. I have been involved in the delivery of thousands and thousands of artwork files for printing and I know what works. I also know, what doesn’t work, what won’t work and why.
